Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Zest Snap on the web, as an installed web app, or in the iPhone or Android app. By using Zest Snap you agree to them. Zest Snap is developed and operated by Stability Group (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa under registration number 2018/605063/07. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Stability Group (Pty) Ltd. If you buy a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, Apple’s or Google’s own terms for purchases also apply.

What Zest Snap does

Zest Snap reads photos, screenshots and documents you choose and suggests calendar events, reminders and plans. It uses AI to do this, and AI can make mistakes. Always check dates, times, places and amounts against the original before relying on them, especially for travel, payments, medical appointments and deadlines. Zest Snap is a helper, not a guarantee that you won’t miss something.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zest Snap. You can try Zest Snap without an account; an account lets you keep your data across devices and is needed for a subscription. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Privacy & data.

Acceptable use

Only upload content you’re allowed to share. Don’t use Zest Snap to break the law, to harm others, to get around usage limits (for example with multiple accounts or automated requests) or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

In Shared plans, don’t post anything abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening or spam, and don’t share someone else’s private information. You can report any message (the flag next to it) and block a member so you no longer see their messages or get alerts from them. We review reports, remove content that breaks these terms and may suspend the account that posted it.

Free plan and Zest Snap Pro

The free plan includes a limited number of AI scans to get started; they don’t renew. After that you can use Zest Credits or upgrade. Zest Snap Pro gives a monthly allowance of AI scans and extra features. The current allowances and features are shown on the Premium page and in Settings. Unused Pro scans don’t carry over to the next month. We may change what each plan includes; if a change reduces what you’ve already paid for, it applies from your next billing period.

Subscriptions and billing

• Price and term. Zest Snap Pro is offered monthly or yearly. The price, currency and billing period are shown before you confirm. Prices can differ by country and include taxes where the store or payment provider adds them.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. If the price changes, you’ll be told in advance as the App Store, Google Play or our payment provider requires, and you can cancel before it applies.
• iPhone and Android. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings (in Zest Snap: Settings › Monthly scans › Manage subscription).
• Where to subscribe. Paid plans are sold only in the iPhone and Android apps. The website doesn’t take payments; a plan bought in the app works on the web when you’re signed in.
• Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it’s shown before you start it. Trials are for new subscribers only, include a reduced number of AI scans, and convert to a paid subscription when they end unless you cancel before then (on iPhone and Android, at least 24 hours before). Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Cancelling. When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and your account then returns to the free plan. Your scans, planner and history are kept according to your settings.
• Refunds. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google: through your Play account). For web purchases, contact us at support@zestsnap.app. A refunded subscription ends straight away. Details: Cancellation & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, the store or payment provider may retry it for a short time. If it isn’t collected, the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan.

Rewards and credits

Bonus scans and credits from referrals, milestones or promotions have no cash value, can’t be transferred or sold, and may expire or be withdrawn if they were earned in breach of these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create. You give us permission to process it only to provide Zest Snap to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep Zest Snap reliable but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or stop features. If we stop offering Pro, we’ll stop renewals and tell you in advance.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Zest Snap is provided “as is”, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on an AI suggestion you didn’t check. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn’t exclude liability that can’t be excluded by law.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Zest Snap and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; if we close it without a breach on your part, we’ll help you request a refund of prepaid, unused subscription time from Apple or Google.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we’ll tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
