Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Zest Snap uses only the cookies and on-device storage it needs to work. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking and no analytics cookies, so there’s no cookie banner.
Cookies
- Sign-in session (names starting
sb-, set by our account provider Supabase): keeps you signed in on zestsnap.app and app.zestsnap.app. Removed when you sign out. Strictly necessary. - Google Calendar connection check (
zest-gcal-state): a one-time security value used only while you connect Google Calendar, deleted straight after (at most 10 minutes). Strictly necessary.
Page-view statistics
We count which pages are visited with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It receives only the page address without its query (shared-plan and invite links are replaced by placeholders), never your content, and it is switched off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
Storage on your device
Like an app, Zest Snap keeps some information in your browser’s local storage or on your phone so it opens quickly and works offline. It isn’t sent to anyone else and isn’t used for advertising.
- Your content when you’re not signed in: guest scans, Planner, reminders and reward progress.
- An offline copy of your signed-in Planner, reminders and shared plans, so they load without a connection.
- Preferences: appearance, interests and which screen you were on.
- An invite code from a friend’s link, until your account claims the reward.
- The offline page and app files cached by the installed web app (PWA).
Your choices
- Sign out to remove the sign-in cookie.
- Settings › Privacy & data › Clear device data removes Zest Snap’s storage on that device.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you won’t be able to stay signed in.
